Richard Polgar is the Chief Financial Officer of CapFlow Funding Group®, where he oversees financial strategy, capital management, and operational finance supporting the company’s nationwide alternative lending platform. He has been with CapFlow for over a decade, progressing from Financial Analyst and Assistant Controller to Financial Controller and ultimately CFO, playing a key role in the company’s sustained growth and financial discipline.
In addition to his executive role, Richard is a Forbes Finance Council Contributor, regularly publishing thought leadership on financial strategy and industry trends on Forbes.com. His experience spans corporate finance, financial modeling, risk management, and capital optimization within the alternative finance sector.
Earlier in his career, Richard held analyst and consulting roles with First Manhattan Consulting Group, NYSE Euronext, and Merrill Lynch, gaining exposure to capital markets, pricing strategy, and institutional finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Economics, with a minor in Corporate Accounting, from St. Francis College, where he graduated magna cum laude as a Presidential Scholar.
